There’s no changing my mind that our society has become irreversibly damaged by the rise of artificial intelligence. And I despise it all.
If you’re like me, you’ve been on the internet long enough to see a sudden rise of artificially generated deepfake content. Now everyone has the tools to make any viral video they want, isn’t that cool? No, it’s terrifying. There’s no practical reason for this technology to exist, when all it does is just fake reality. Why do we need to substitute reality with fake garbage? Because it’s “funny?” Not to mention the negative environmental impact it has, using up so much power that could be used to power homes instead.
In fact, I won’t even give any of you any examples of what I’ve seen – it’s that disgraceful. I’m doing you a favor, in fact. No human eyes were ever designed to witness such abominations
